About a Ship
There once was a captain, brave and true,
Who dreamt of sailing the ocean blue.
But he had no ship, and he had no crew,
But he had come up with just what to do.
So he set off with only an axe and his name,
Sure that his forefathers he wouldn't shame.
He then came upon a mighty tree.
As far high as his eyes could see.
He swung his axe and with a great cry,
Brought down the tree that had touched the sky.
It took him three months, day and night,
Till he was able to get everything right.
But the a problem he had to face,
How on earth was he to reach the hills base.
His ship overlooked the calming sea,
But a great length of land stood between it and he.
Downtrodden and lost, the captain then wept.
Never to the shores would his fine ship be swept.
Just then, a pack of Gallion's heard his plight,
And quickly rose up and took to flight.
They told the stallion they wanted to help,
And then rushed off to gather some kelp.
When they'd gotten enough, to the ship they tied
And together took flight, till the great ship flied.
To the sea it flew with grace,
Until on the waves it took it's place.
Many had seen the miracle in shock,
And hurried with bags loaded, To the dock.
A crew was soon found, to board the ship,
And they all made ready for their very first trip.
In honor of the petpets, who helped him make way,
He named the ship after them, forever to say...
The Sea Gallion
The ship my father made, and the one he left behind for me. Saddly she now lays at the bottom of the sea thanks to a ruthless crew of Pirate Krawks...I lost my crew, and nearly my life. But the sea still calls me.
